MBA profile

You can have some years of working experience and excellent points on GMAT, but you also need to have a decent profile to get in top business schools anywhere. What does comprise in good Mba Profile?

Working experience: should show growth of your career, justify your purposes/decisions, your independence and desire to develop. The more experience you have, the better. If you worked on supervising posts, you have more chances.

Difficult situations: in which you appeared in life and at work, and  how much good you  have solved them. If you have passed fire and water, and you still have a balanced career it speaks in your advantage. Difficult situations have really made of you the best person. It makes better your essay, but you will need proofs of your history.

Variety: cultural, social, technical - all knowledge is appreciated. Certainly,  too many jumps from one work to another says about instability and indecision. But wider experience in your profession, the international experience will make your profile very attractive.

Volunteering: activity in service to  society and charity everywhere are highly appreciated. Even if you have only donated blood, or have swept a court yard, it all the same gives additional points to your profile.

Sports: makes your person more complete. Individual kinds of sports are good, but skill in team kinds shows you from a positive side, after all this is an important quality of a future manager. And if you also were a captain of a team your rating will fly up at once.

Languages: very important point of your resume. The knowledge of more than one language will give you advantage of other candidates.

Business: never tried to be engaged in own business? If tried, this says a lot about you. Even if an attempt was unsuccessful, it is important, that you wished to enter into the world of business and have received valuable experience.
